Pharaoh’s identity for now is a secret. Look at his grave.
Archaeologists have discovered a new old Egyptian secret king, buried in a cemetery network on Mount Anub.
“The discovery of the graves of King, the new pharaohs, there are few and many,” the team that revealed the new grave told Business Insider.
The researchers do not know the identity of these pharaohs because they believe that the thieves of the old graves have damaged the sign on the wall of the grave. It could still help to clarify a forgotten era in Egyptian history from around 1640 BC to 1540 BC, when the warriors fought for the soil.
“It’s really an interesting stage in the turmoil, conflict,” said Wegner, who teaches at the University of Pennsylvania and the Egyptian section of the Penn Museum.
“The new then will be born, the golden age of many well-known pharaohs such as King Tutt and the kings of the Ramsis,” he said.

He is part of Abidos, one of the oldest cities in ancient Egypt and once was the home of a few well-known family of Abidos, where archaeologists believe he was one of several warrior kingdoms across Egypt during the second part of the region.
“It’s a secret family,” Wegner said of Abidos’ kings.

Today, the ancient city is the place of a wide monument, where the kings of Abidos have turned the rocket into a royal cemetery.
The Weagner team had previously discovered a grave in the area in

Sinb Kai was the evidence of the temporary wars. The old graves had removed his body from the burial place and left him in another room. Several centuries later, the researchers examined the skeleton and found 22 wounds in its bones, including the skull of the skull that was cracked. They came to the conclusion that he died in the war.
The walls of the tomb of Sinb Kai are decorated with colorful paintings, including hieroglyphics, the name of the king.

And they found the other unsettled graves around him, for the total of eight kings of Abidos.
“We thought we had finished all the evidence until last winter in Abidos, where we started working in a new part of the site,” Wegner said. “Lo and look, there is another change that is much larger than we have found before.
Like the grave of Sinb Kai, this type was decorated with paintings — among them the hieroglys of the name of Pharaoh.

But with the uncomfortable Wegner, the thieves of the old graves had damaged the hieroglife sign and the name of the unreaders.
“Of course it was a little annoying that we can see where the name is protected,” Wegner said.

“It was a big and attractive structure,” Wegner said. He said the grave size and warehouses “maybe eventually attracted the thieves to this place.

Among the small monuments of the region, Wegner meets two kings of Abidos who have not been found yet, who can be the one in this new grave. Their names are synapy and paentgeney.
Wegner still hopes to confirm the identity of the new king.

Archaeological teams may find a sign because the surrounding areas are fleeing. Wegner said they finished digging the grave after his discovery in January.
A detail gives him hope: they have not yet found the secret that they have the pharaoh’s cups, which carry the Mummy members.

Wegner says sometimes the thieves of the graves took control of the Canpian glasses and then thrown them. It is also common for the pharaoh to have a mummified pharaoh. He hopes to find a piece of one of the cups that has the name of this king.
“That will be a immediate positive identity,” Wegner says.
Weagner plans to return to the site this summer for further excavation.

They have a “big area” that they want to continue to dig, both for more evidence in this grave and to examine other graves.
Mount Anub has made a much more history than Wegener was waiting for him when he began working there in the 1990s.
“We have realized that it is a royal cemetery, like the valley of the kings,” he said.
