Alexis Mc. Alister’s father has denied the comments he has linked to Real Madrid, saying he respects Liverpool’s contract.
Madrid have been lightweight in midfield this season and Federico Valverde has been forced to take him back from defence.
This has led a number of players to join the Santiago Bernabeu, including Mac Alister, who is an integral role in signing Liverpool.

The player’s father, who also works as his agent, says reports are broad in the goal, yet Alexis is happy with Anfield.
“There’s nothing to talk about. Alexis is very happy at Liverpool. He hopes to win the Premier League title this season and then enjoy the holiday he didn’t win last year.
“It is important to respect the club he plays for, so any attention we have to do with our club will be insignificant,” he said.
Mac Alister becomes Anfield star under Arne Slot
Mac Alister joined Liverpool in Brighton in June 2023 and quickly became a key member of the squad under Jurgen Klopp, but this season has grown under Arn Slot and is likely to be rewarded with 13 points at the top of the Premier League.
“Alex has been linked with a move for Liverpool until 2028, and he is happy at the club.
