President Francisco Farioli has left Ajax since the end of the season and has won the Erdevis title.
Ajax took nine points to the top of the Netherlands to lead the game, but on Sunday they ended one behind the Insenalk.
The 36-year-old has been linked with a move for the club last summer.
“The management and I have the same goal for the future of Ajax, but we have different visions and frameworks on how to work and work to achieve those goals,” he said.
“Considering these differences in the principles of the project, I feel deep in my heart, which is the best moment to separate from the roads.
Ajax’s technical director Alex Cross said the club had achieved its goal of winning the Champions League under the Farioli and considered his departure as “discroached in a distrust.
“Francesco has played a key role in enhanced the high culture of efficiency in Ajax, which we are extremely grateful,” Crois said.
Barcelona midfielder says he was supposed to be active this summer.
