
Scotland has won the World Women’s Cralling tournament, despite losing their last game in South Korea.
They entered three sessions on Friday between the Sophie Jackson, Denmark and China to secure the two places left among six key players.
A win for Madeleine Dupont’s Danish over Scotland would have won six wins each in the morning.
But Jackson’s side did 10-5 to secure progress for themselves and China before the two clubs meet in the afternoon.
The Scots then beat 7-2 at the Rui Wong’s RINK stadium after only seven in the afternoon to end with seven wins and five defeats.
The Chinese are fifth in the fifth place in the evening in the first place in the evening, against the Canadian ruler.
Rinky Homan had previously succeeded with Switzerland, Sweden and South Korea.
World champions Silvana Terrynzoni are top of the Swiss league with 10 wins and one defeat, with Canada and Eungie Game each with nine wins, while Anna Hasilburg’s Sweden sits in fourth place with eight wins.
Scotland will face third-placed clubs in South Korea, while China is currently in fourth place, and Sweden is currently on Saturday’s semi-finals.
