
Only at the meeting of the Copy County Schools Board was Thursday night. Dozens of people had filled the board room to gather around two coaches and said they had suddenly fired from their jobs.
Randy McCloo, coach and coach James Güne, who coached the boys and girls’ basketball basketball, said they were blind last week when they found out that their contracts would not be renewed at the end of the season.
“I wanted to know that this was my last year of this season… If I was sacked and I don’t know it would have been my last year, it’s difficult,” Gwen said.

There are about 4,000 signatures on a Change.org request that calls for a thorough investigation into the end of the two coaches, a total of 1,200 wins in his career.
“We are in the regional championship for 13 consecutive years, and the girls with our team’s 3.7-year-old.
The school has even named the Gwin-Makclora gym on behalf of the two decorated coaches.
“We are committed to the Campblae,” Gwen said. “We are the people of Campbeal. We are committed to this society, and we feel that it is obvious, this is where we wanted to be for our professions.

They said they wanted to be returned, which is that some of their athletes like to see it in the same way.
“I’d like to see him,” said Cooper Watkins, who coached Gowen last season. “He’s very loyal, he’s very good, he really supports players and families. He’s just a really really good coach.
Supporters were calling for an investigation, which school supervisor Chris Ragsdale said.

“When I learned that they were allowed, I immediately and personally initiated the decision,” Ragsdale said. “This review has now led to a study…as a district, we are holding ourselves with higher standards than how it has been dealt with.
“At the end of the investigation, the reports will reports and share anything that may be done,” Ragsdale said.
