
A source told ESPN that Charles Omeneu’s end of defense would return to Kansas City Chiefs with a one-year deal worth more than $7 million.
The 27-year-old has played for Kansas City in the past two seasons after signing him in 2023 as a free player.
He missed the first six games of the 2023 season, after being suspended by NFL for violating the NFL’s personal behavioral policy. Omeneu was arrested by police in San Jose, California in the first month of the year on charges of raping a household.
Omeneu returned to have the most productive season in his career. He had seven tall bags with another in the ranks before tearing his ACL in the AFC tournament on the Baltimore Ravens.
He returned in 2024 to play one in six games of the season. He has played with one in three games in all three games.
Omeneu has begun his NFL game as the fifth round of the Huston Texas. He has played for Texas 2 /2 and has had seven bags before being dealt with in 2021 for San Francisco 49ers. Omenhueu had 4.5 to 49ers in 2022.
It has 19.5 bags in six seasons of NFL.
