Washington Capitals Alex Oveçkin is one of the most gestures in the history of NHL. The legendary striker has already consolidated his name in history, but is still looking for a goal from Wayne Gregonyz.
Now at the age of 39, Ovechekin is on the verge of being at the forefront of NHL at all times, and can exceed 694 goals before the end of the season. Capitals have scored 888 goals in their careers after scoring 35 goals in Washington’s first round at the Philadelphia Flares.
He now needs seven more goals in 13 games staying in Washington to take the lead in the Greatzky record this season.
Ovechekin currently has 1,607 points (888 goals, 719 assists) in professional life. On March 9, Oveçkin became the 11th NHL player to reach 1,600 points.
The 2023-24 season has proved that it is a fairy league for Ovicekin, which has scored 31 goals, the lowest in a total of a whole in his career. Ovechekin scored only 24 goals in the 2020-21 season, but it was a short of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Oveçkin scored 42 goals in the 2022-23 season, and at least 41 in the 19 NHL seasons.
He made history in the 2023-24 season when he scored a NHL record of 30 goals, surpassing 17 goals for him. Now up to 19 years for sports life.
Ovechekin is an established force on the power of the Capitals, so it continues to have the opportunity to score many goals. He obviously scored much better than a year ago when he scored only five goals in the first two months of the season.
