
Bayern Munich goalkeeper and Manuel Neuer have suffered a calf injury, the club said in a statement.
Neuer has been tearing his calf’s muscles as he celebrated in Bayern Munich’s first game last year in early March in Bayer Leverkusen.
The 38-year-old had returned to training with the ball in recent days, but at the end of the week he injured the calf muscle during the training.
Bayern said Neuer had “a reaction to the calf’s muscle” and that he should sit outside “in the coming days”.
