Arsenal striker Leandro Trosard is in an advanced talks on a new deal.
Trusard, whose current contract continues until 2027, has been in talks with Arsenal since January, and the 30-year-old is also interested in Saudi Arabia.
But in recent weeks the process has accelerated and optimism is now growing, an agreement is close because several sources have indicated that the negotiations are likely to reach a positive outcome.
Sports Director Andrea Berta, who joined the club last month, led the last group of talks and was known to have informed Trusard Arsenal that his priority would remain at the Emirates Stadium.
The Belgian has made 123 appearances for Mikel Arteta for Mikel Arteta since joining Brighton and Hov Albion in 2023, scoring 28 goals.
