Williams, at Texas, AndM and Carter, talks about hatred online.

Texas Basketball coach Baz Williams said on Friday he had spoken with Agis Jace Carter’s guards, and Carter’s parents and friends had been the target of death threats on social media this season.

Texas A&M qualified for the second round of the NCAA to win 80-71 at Yale on Thursday night in Arena. After the success, in an interview with KBTX-TV, Carter said how “long year” was for him.

“It’s crazy, it has led to death threats. People say all kinds of things because I’m a free throwing away, I’m missing. If you’re a young child and not strong, I feel like an adult man,” Carter said.

The Supreme Guard played Buldox in Thursday’s game and finished 10 points.

“I can help us,” Carter added in the interview. “It’s hard, especially when it comes from your fans… Sometimes it’s active, but at the end of the day I’m comfortable with who I am like a man.

Williams was asked on Friday about Carter’s comments and his players’ participation on social media in general.

“Yes, it has been a matter that has been more common in her career than ever. I think it may be with this issue now, and others’ opinions may affect many decision-making,” Williams said.

” … I have tried to deal with Jason’s father, Jason’s mother. Just not to think it’s just Jase, that conversation has happened several times with many players… That’s why I have given up a kind of social media.

“He has tried to advise his players how to deal with everything you might see on themselves on social media, including what they may publish,” Williams said. “There are two discussions today,” he said, in response to what Carter had revealed after Thursday’s game.

“I think when you’re 22 years old and grew up with a screen, you can’t look at ‘M’,” Williams said. I think what bothers our group, and all our groups, when they come from something they think is inside, I think it’s where they change their hearts, as I thought they were our fans. I’m just trying to see if I believe it’s true, if my children tell them.”

Carter has played for Texas for Texas, AndM at the Illinois-Chicago University, which has made six and 32 appearances this season. In the 17.2 minutes of this year, an average of 3.9 points per game.

Agis will face Michigan in the second round of South Arena on Saturday.
