
Former England’s Steve Holland has been sacked by Yokohama F Marinos after just four months as president.
The Holland has only won one of its 11 league games and has been sacked in 20 J-league teams.
The club says today Yokohama F Marinos has announced that the club have decided to leave with Steve Hollande, who was appointed coach in early 2025.
“To fill the gap, Barcelona president Patrick Kissorbo will work as interim manager for a while.
The Netherlands worked as former England’s assistant director Gareth Southgate for eight years and helped his three lions to second place in the 2021 and 2024 European Championships.
The 54-year-old has been sacked before Yokohama F Marinos plays in the league and then Nasser, who has Cristiano Ronaldo, in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Marinos finished ninth in the ninth place last season and have not won the title since
The club is part of the City Football Group, which is also the owner of Manchester City, New York City FC and Melbourne City FC.
