
Luka Modric says he wants to help Swansea “competition at the highest level” after being impressively announced as a colleague of the tournament on Monday.
The 39-year-old Real Madrid player, who won the 2018 Ballon d’Or, has invested at the club.

He has spent the past 13 seasons with Real Madrid and helped win six Champions League titles after four years in Tottenham at the beginning of his career.
“This is a provocative opportunity. Swansea has a strong identity, an incredible fans and the wish to compete at a high level,” Modric said.
“Playing at the highest level, I believe I can provide my experience for the club,” he said.
“My goal is to support the club’s development positively and help build a provocative future,” he said.
“We are very happy that Luka has joined the ownership group,” Swansea Board said.
