Newcastle coach Eddie Hoo has thanked the fans for his “my message and aspirations” after the club announced that he would recover from hospitals after suffering from pneumonia.
Hoo, 47, went to hospital late Friday after feeling unpleasant for several days.
Newcastle announced that they missed 4-1 at the Stadium at the San James at the Mag-Payz Park on Sunday.
“There is a lot of support for all those who are involved in Newcastle United and the broader football community for your messages and your warm dreams. They have made a lot of meaning for me and my family,” Hoo said in a statement.
“I also want to respect the incredible NHS and our hospital staff who have treated me.
“I am very grateful for the observers I will receive and, after recovery, I am waiting for me to return as soon as possible.
Jason Tendal and Graym Jones will lead Newcastle for their next games against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
“More renewal,” the club said.
