Borussia Dortmund coach Niko Kovac has insisted his side must show a “complete face” in the Champions League quarter-finals against Barcelona.
Former Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski scored twice as Barcelona scored 4-0 in the first game last week.
But Dortmund have been accustomed to save their best form for the Champions League, reaching the final last year and wishing a legendary return from home.
Barcelona have not yet lost in 2025 but Kovac wants to fight.
“We know the situation. We want to show a completely different face tomorrow as to win the first game,” he said.

“There are always miracles, but we know that Barcelona have not lost a competition this year,” he said.
“We have to be there from the first minute tomorrow and bring the fans to us.
Dortmund, who have fought in the Premier League and are eighth on 42 points, can play for the second leg in Germany against Barca Trebal without Captain Imre.
“We have been resting in training today. He has had a muscle problem in his Adockar area for several weeks and has always pulled his teeth,” Kovac said.
“You have to emphasize that. You may not play tomorrow, we have to see.”
Kovac also praised Felix Nemecha, who returned to the team earlier this month after being una knee injury, adding: “Filks has grown as a player as a player and as a person.
“He can do everything on the ball, he has a big dynamic and a complete player.
