After playing a lead role in Tottenham last season for the first FA Cup final, Grace Clinton was forced to watch on a debt on the margins on Wembley, when Manchester United’s father asked for the trophy.
This time he hopes to play a major role after scoring the second important goal against City on Sunday.
“We want to win the cups at the club so it’s really interesting and I hope to be able to play,” the midfielder told the BBC Sport.
“It was (the last season was unworthy) was a strange feeling. I really couldn’t explain it.
The striker was admitted to City in the second half to avoid a second yellow card, with Skyri’s lucky manager refused to win.
“I couldn’t be afraid that it wouldn’t be part of the final because it doesn’t deserve it,” he said.
“Before he came out, I thought the best player in the park. His twins, his work outside the ball and the ability to change the game by driving.
It was appropriate for Clinton and Celine Beazth, both on loan at Tottenham last season, scoring goals and sending United to Wembley.
“Clinton has come back to Manchester United and has really worked on it, physically in both boxes,” White said.
“Also the ability to score, he can score very well anywhere.
