Manchester United legend Eric Cantona says the club will be destroyed under the partnership of Sir Gim Ratcliffe.
The Inyus Ratcliffe Group bought a 27.7 percent share of United in February 2024 worth about 1.25 billion pounds ($1.6 billion).
Glazer’s family, who has been the 20-time English champion since 2005, has a majority of their shares, but Inies has taken control of the club’s football.
Last month, United unveiled a major plan to build a new icon of 2 billion pounds, £100,000 and close to Old Trafford.
The 72-year-old British billionaire was criticized at Old Trafford after United increased the price of tickets and scored two rounds of exaggeration in an attempt to improve the club’s finances.
The Frenchman, founded by the Red Devils’ disgruntled fans after the arrest of Glazer, in which Cantona and several family members have registered to become partners, have strictly assessed the effects of rating.
“Since Ratcliffe reached the team, directors have been trying to destroy everything and they don’t respect anyone,” said former EU striker Cantona, who played 185 appearances from 1992 to 1997.
“I feel sad to see United in this kind of situation. They decided on something else. They have another strategy, another project.
“I support United because I really love United, but now if I’m a fan and I have to choose a club I don’t think I’ll choose United.
Kantona, which ended 45 times by France, said it had to find its soul again, as he asked the wisdom of Sir Alex Ferguson’s approach to as the world’s ambassador.
Ferguson, who won 13 Premier League titles as United coach, will leave the role at the end of the season, although club sources told the BBC in October last year, the decision was taken friendly after a direct debate between Scotland and Ratcliffe.
“Sir Alex Ferguson doesn’t want him more as an ambassador. He’s more than a legend,” Kantona said.
“The spirit of the team and the club is not in the players – everyone around them are like a big family.
The 58-year-old also criticized Ratclife’s plans to link Old Trafford to bulldoz in favor of a new land instead of developing their spiritual home.
“They even want to change the stadium. The stadium is an icon. For me, Arsenal lost their souls when they left Hyberia and I’m sure many fans are Miss Heberry.
“You can imagine Liverpool playing at another stadium at Anfield? That’s impossible. I don’t think United can play at another stadium at Old Trafford.
United have refused to comment when the BBC Sport has joined Inyus to respond.
