Unai Emery insists Aston Villa still believes that despite losing 3-1 to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals in Paris on Wednesday.
Morgan Rogers gave Villa the leading lead in a vocal game after 35 minutes, but the high goals of Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Nuno Mendes finished their return to the dominant league 1 champions.
The result means that Emery has a monumental mission in the game if they want to have any hope for the quarter-finals of European elites.

But the villa president believes he has the support at home that his team is able to disturb the Villa Park next week.
Imri admitted that “the more or less expectations I had in 90 minutes (tonight) happened.
“The result may not be a big difference between 2-1 and 3-1 because we play at home next week. It still becomes a big challenge for us but we can feel strong at home with our support.
“Before the game, we knew we needed to be a clinic and we were clinic in the first half,” he said.
“The game is the first game. Of course the result is not good for us, but it can be one of the positive players to be at home to achieve our force and use our strength.
“We believe in our support, we believe in Villa Park. We believe the players can perform the best next week.
Rogers felt his manager’s feelings and said the players wouldn’t lose anything.
“We have another leg to try and return, we go to everything, we will try, we will eventually succeed, and in the end, we see where it takes us,” Rogers said.
“We didn’t want to come here (Paris) and be just audiences. We wanted to participate and try and compete and I felt that we did it for the big parts.
“We have acquired quality to change this.

“We have nothing to lose, there was no one to win the equality in the first place so why don’t we go to it?
“We just need to continue walking for him and continue what we can do and know where he will take us.
