Inter Milan coach Simon Inzaghi has insisted he is comparing the selection problems with the squad faced by Bayern Munich as teams are preparing to play in the Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday (20:00 BST).
According to Inzaghi, defender Denziel Damfers and midfielder Peuter Zilinsky are out of action, while Albania’s Christian Aslani has been suspended and Widman’s Federico Dimarco is “more than yes,” according to Inzaghi.
The Italian hopes midfielder Alessandro Baston and midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu will overcome the problems and start against German leaders and six times in Europe.
“My sons should be applauded more because we have struggled for two months,” Inzaghi said. “I find myself with 14 players and everyone is just talking about Bayern’s absence,” he said.
“But we are moving forward, we know that we are facing a big obstacle, with great confidence and we know that we must organize and have the will.
