Michelle was born and grown up in Stoke New York, but says there was no chance of supporting her local club Arsenal.
“I support Chelsea because of my husband’s father – he’s always played on the television – but my mother is a fan of Tottenham and he insisted I can’t support Arsenal,” Ivanka told the BBC Sport.
“Many other Chelsea fans were not around my Eastet, but one of my neighbors was a fan.
“He was also the only other girl I knew I liked to play football, so it was a little coincidence that the person I contacted at school supported the same team I had done.
“My hero was Didier Drogba. He was a great player, but he had an amazing charisma. He was very exciting to watch.
Michelle is also still playing football – as a left for women from Islington Boro in the Great Women’s League.
“I didn’t play for a while when I left school, but then I played at Findberry Park, I invited him to play for the initial group Islington Boro.
“I loved it so much, and I didn’t stop since then – I played at 7. One side initially then 11-A-side for the substitutes before I join the first team.
“It’s a surprising journey and I’ve got some great friends – I recommend it for anyone. Every weekend is difficult to play because I might have a guige somewhere, but always when I can travel.
“Once I was playing at Manchester on Saturday, but then I returned to London at night, so I could play on Sunday.
Chris Sutton and Michelle spoke to Chris Bivan at the BBC Sports.
