Bulgarian midfielder Arda Cardzhali received Petko Ganchev as a special guest against Cherno Moore on Wednesday – two weeks after having a minute.
Last month, Arda made a mourning for Ganchev before the game with Sofia’s Levsky, who mistakenly believed she was dead. Both teams were listed in the middle circle.
But before the game was over, Arda posted on social media that “authorized information about her death” and the 78-year-old is very alive.
Ganchev was described as a “legend” and won 4-0 before Arda’s game against Cherno Moore.
“Before the match between Petiko Ganchev, Evailo’s sporting director Petkov, who gave him a dress, watched the game at other veteran Peshmergas Arda,” the club said.
“We apologize to Peyko Ganchev again.
Ganchev said he had to assure his friend and family that he was still alive because he was going home by mistake when Arda mistakenly announced his death.
“When I heard the terrible news, I poured a small brand for myself,” he told Bulgaria.
“He is buried alive, it’s really very stressful, really.
