British fights for Ukraine

  • Maker Gifford is a former businessman who fought in the Ukrainian army as an international volunteer.

  • He described the best — and the worst — of his volunteer friends.

  • He said they were a “brothers gang” that they had strongly helped Ukraine – with some “those who mixed crazy.

After a complete invasion of Ukraine in 2022, thousands of people around the world responded to President Volodymynsky’s call for coming to his country and defending his country.

Ukraine quickly saw itself welcomes a bag of volunteers, from those who have no experience of fighting to adhesive and stable fighters.

Maker Gifford, named “Nome de Gerre in the former Harry Ron currency trader, who joined the Ukrainian army in 2022, became one of the most famous figures who support the country’s defense.

The British, who fought there for two years, talked about the first flow of volunteer riots, the best and the worst he brought with them.

Thousands of volunteers, anywhere to put them

Preliminary estimates for the number of international volunteers who have registered to fight for Ukraine between 4,000 and 20,000 people.

Giford, who initially went out to help and train, but after the violence committed by Russian forces in Bucha, they felt forced to fight, and went out to help.

“The Ukrainian military infrastructure is not ready for such an influx, and first training is bad,” he said.

He said the influx seemed to see the Ukraine’s struggle to train its troops while it was struggling.

But in the end, he said that Ukraine was able to absorb it effectively.

The ‘real jewelers’ that showed themselves — and survival

The volunteers came from all classes of life — and with extensive experience and motivation.

“You’ve seen those who have a imaginary ability and want to go out to share that information,” Giford said.

He added that many have been able to get acquainted with the battlefield doctors and acquaintance with the Western weapons system that they have started to arrive.

He said the “true jewel” were those who survived, showed arrogance, and were trusted by the Ukrainians, respected the language and culture.

These people were quickly very useful in the battle.

‘Those who have affection.

Others showed themselves at all and had no experience.

These were “they of them with passion”, he said, “Those who listened to the attractiveness and hopelessness of Zeninsky at the beginning of the conflict were moved because of their policy and ideology.

Giford does not criticize the inexperienced people who showed themselves.

It began, after fighting alongside Syrian forces against ISIS in 2015 — with zero experience.

What is important is how people adapt and deal with themselves. “You’re not a hero just to show yourself,” he said. “You are the hero of what you are doing.

Four Ukrainian army soldiers saw that they had left the camera from a commercial drone outside the sheep, in a video that was still by the British volunteer warrior Maker Gheford.

The worst type of volunteers

Giford said there were some “scary stories” with international volunteers.

Ukraine’s International Ligue 1, which was founded initially to replace the warriors requested by Zeninsky, called for a reputation for incomplete work.

Giford said he would like to work with the Ukrainian people.

“They are honest, some very dangerous people came forward,” he said. “But they are too far away between them.

Some people full of problems had come “the first place to feel finished,” he said.

“Maybe he may have escaped something in their own country, whether it’s drinking or drug use,” he said. “They may see Ukraine as a place to prove themselves.

The volunteers also appeared to have mistakenly donated the training ground, which was then hit by Russian forces.

According to Giford, the worst type of volunteer was the person who showed himself and thinks they all know.

“I believe that one or two journey in Afghanistan or Iraq means that it can bow around people in Ukraine,” he said, adding that the Ukraine conflict is very different from anything that even most of its fighters had experienced.

‘screamers’

He said there is another foreign species that manifests itself in Ukraine.

“They are calling ‘M’,” Giford said. “A son, by definition, is someone who wears the entire Ukraine’s uniform, often without one, not even in the Ukrainian army.

He said they were walking around the city, “they are sitting in coffee shops in places such as Levive and Odyssa, which are completely safe, and do not walk on the front line of Ukraine within 1,000 miles.

thanks to foreigners

“I don’t like to talk about the negative side of the international volunteers for fear of brushing the same brush,” Giford said.

“Many of those who have crossed this road have worked to prove themselves, and the gratitude of the ordinary Ukraine is undeniable,” he said.

“People have suggested to buy drinks or pay for their meals because they “love volunteers. “The ordinary Ukrainians only love the fact that they are not alone and there are people who are willing to risk their lives.

He also saw the Ukrainian gratitude for his own eyes because his unit helped his villages in the Oblast Charison, in the south of the country.

“As a group of brothers, I see that going out to support Ukraine in the necessary hour, they mixed with several madmen,” Gifford said of the volunteers.
