The former Kansas police chief has been sentenced to 60 years in prison after being convicted of carrying children’s porn.
The Federal Court’s records show that 39-year-old Joel Wamokill was sentenced in El Dorado on Friday after confessing to two conspiracies of sexual exploitation for children/producing children’s pornography.
Between August 9-15, he owned a pornography of children, with one of the 13 videos containing a child under the age of five and previously had court recordings.
The charges against each 30 years, which are supposed to be held together. He is also ordered to pay $529,000 in compensation for the victims.
