Marcos Rashford has pointed to Hangaw’s move to Aston Villa since he scored his first goal of Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-finals at the Pictureston North Ends.
The striker joined Unai Emery on loan in January after he left Old Trafford in favor of coach Ruben Aurim several times about Rashford’s efforts in training.
Rashford has shown symptoms since joining Villa and has appeared in the first England squad during international holidays.
He was at Depedel on Sunday when he played Villa’s first goal in the 58th minute before just five minutes later on the penalty spot. Jacob Ramsey scored a 71st minute shot.
“It’s a very nice feeling. I feel like I’m slowly gaming and I’ve played better since I’m here,” Rashford told the BBC. “So yes, it’s obvious that a striker always scores, so I hope he continues.
Villa’s win in Wembley was reserved when they face Crystal Palace in late April. Emery have also reached the Champions League quarter-finals, where they face Paris Saint-Germain.
Midlands are four points behind Chelsea in the Premier League, although it is likely to be fiveth in the Champions League next season due to the results of the European Championships this season.
“I think we have to take only one game at the same time and give only 100% on the pitch and we see where it will take us,” Rashford said. “But I think we’re a very big team. We want to win, we want to try and get it as much as we can in all competitions.
“I think I can be gymnastics and I have thought about calling me a lot before you call me. So in a minute when my body feels good and I just enjoy my ball. So everything is good for now,” Rashford said.
