
Downing Street says Sir Kir Starmer and Donald Trump have agreed that “productive negotiations” on an economic agreement between Britain and the United States “will continue to speed.
Sunday night’s telephone call comes after sources said the number 10 said Government ready to take revenge on US taxes if necessary.
In the second few months, Trump imposed a series of taxes from other countries at the White House, but British negotiators are trying to get amnesty at the last minute before a specified deadline.
A 25 percent tax is expected to be imposed on Wednesday and a broader tax threat will be imposed.
Downing Street spokesman said the two leaders discussed keeping “co mass on Putin” on Ukraine, a Downing Street spokesman said.
The number 10 also said Trump had begun the call by sending his hopes for King Charlie III, after the king experienced time side effects during the treatment of cancer earlier this week.
