Republican President Donald Trump said Sunday he had not made fun of the request for a third term, which was prohibited by the US constitution, but it is too early to think about doing so.
Trump, who took office for the second round of the White House on January 20, indicated vague and vague third requests, but spoke directly on a phone interview with NBC News on Sunday.
“No, I’m not joking. I’m not joking, but it’s too early to think about it,” Trump said.
“There are, there are ways you can do, as you know,” he said. He refused to provide more details on any particular method.
US presidents are limited to two terms of four years, according to the 22nd amendment to the US Constitution.
