New Mexico has agreed a five-year deal to make Eric Olyn’s next manager of the club’s next coach Eric-San Diego.
Olen led the UCS San Diego to the NCAA tournament in the first season this season. Triton lost 68-65 to Michigan in the first round.
It has been 51-17 in the past two years, including 30-5 this season. The Tritons won this year’s Wiste and finished 18-2 in conferences.
Olen has replaced Richard Pitino, who left New Mexico to take over as Zavir coach.
Lobos won 27-8 this season and won the Mauntain West’s regular season. In the first round of the NCAA, they won 7 seeds from Market before they lost to Michigan Stat in the second round.
