According to FIFA president Gianni Infantino, the UK is set to host the 2035 World Cup as the only presenter for the tournament.

A joint proposal was made in March by England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, with the proposal to start the tournament across four domestic nations within 10 years.

FIFA hosting rules call for competition in Europe or Africa for the edition.

Last week, Rafael Luusan, president of the Spanish Football Federation, said Spain was looking for a common proposal with Portugal and Morocco.
