An 11-year-old girl who went missing after entering the Tims River was engaged in poultry from school during a holiday.
Metropolitan police have been summoned to reports that the girl entered the river near London City airport in eastern London at around 13:15 US time on Monday.
The force then searched the river containing boats and helicopters on HM Coast Guard, the royal national savior (RNL) and London firefighters (LFB).
Kerry Benadad, 62, told reporters that she had found shoes, soles, coats and mobile phones near the river and handed over the things to police.
“He was apparently engaged in poultry, so he turned off his shoes and shoes, his coat and then he must slip himself and get off,” he said.
The residents say the child played with a young boy and girl near the water.
On Monday, emergency services began a “great response” to the incident, the force said, but the London Ambulance Services and RNLi stopped then.
Ms. Benadawood said a boy who was with the girl appeared to be about eight or nine years old.
“The little boy turned down and said, ‘I tried to hold my hand, but that’s slipped,” he told PA.
“I told my younger son’s parents that he should see someone, because it will be affected later.
